days until camp!

Safety First

At Royal Soccer Club, the health and safety of our campers and staff guide every decision we make. Our experienced team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where children can confidently learn, play, and thrive.

First Aid Preparedness

Each camp location is equipped with a fully stocked first aid kit, maintained and monitored by the onsite Camp Supervisor. First aid supplies are accessible to staff at all times and are replenished as needed throughout the week.

Medical Information & Allergies

We recognize that some campers may have medical conditions or allergies that require additional care.

Parents and guardians are asked to complete the Medical & Additional Information Form during the registration process. If this information is missed during registration, additional forms will be available on site and can be completed on the first day of camp.

Food Allergies

We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for campers with food allergies. To support this, we ask that lunches and snacks be nut- and tree nut-free.

Our approach includes clear communication with families, staff awareness and training, and proactive planning to support campers with allergies. Please ensure all allergies are clearly listed in the Medical section of the online registration.

If your camper has an allergy that we should be aware, be sure to indicate their allergy/allergies in the Medical section of the online registration.

Onsite Supervisor Contact

On the first day of camp, families will receive a welcome email that includes the onsite Camp Supervisor’s cell phone number for urgent matters during the camp day.

As staff are actively supervising campers, phone calls should be reserved for essential needs during camp hours only. There may be times when staff are unable to answer immediately; however, calls will be returned as soon as it is safe to do so. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Sun Safety

Our summer soccer camps operate primarily outdoors, weather permitting.

Campers are asked to bring and apply their own sunscreen. Touch-free sunscreen spray is available on site if needed, and campers are reminded multiple times throughout the day to reapply. When possible, activities are scheduled in shaded or sheltered areas to reduce sun exposure.

Sign In and Out + Head Counts

Daily sign-in and sign-out procedures are required for all campers to ensure their safety.

If a camper will arrive or leave independently (e.g., walking or biking), a Sign-In/Out Release Form must be completed by a parent or guardian prior to the start of camp. This form is available during online registration and on site if needed.

Staff also conduct regular head counts throughout the day to maintain accurate camper supervision at all times.

Staff Training, Certifications & Background Checks

Our staff are carefully selected and trained to provide a safe, positive camp experience. Many staff members hold First Aid and CPR certifications, and all staff are required to complete and submit a police background check prior to the start of camp.

Illness Policy

We ask families to use appropriate judgment when sending campers to camp. If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them home until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours. The same expectation applies to all staff and volunteers.

If a camper, staff member, or volunteer becomes ill during the camp day, they will be supervised in a separate area and parents or guardians will be contacted immediately for pickup.
